A 7' 9" two weight rod I built for myself, and later sold to a customer without ever fishing the rod. This is my first try at a rattan wrapped grip. The reel seat hardware is not my standard. It is a "G.W. Boyd Inspired" from Russ Gooding at Goldenwitch. When Russ first started making these, he said the name made him think of me, so he sent me this seat. Of course, I turned and morticed the walnut insert myself.
