Alaskan Silver salmon were the intended prey for this 8' two piece hollow built 8 weight rod based on a Dickerson 8015 Guide Special taper. Though that trip fell through, this rod handles Great Lakes steelhead well. Some modifications like a larger grip and a screwlocking seat have been added.
